Today is our Portland Art Collective picnic and we made banners to exchange. I cannot wait to see what everyone created and to hang them in my studio.
I started with a collage of my drawings and sketches combined in Photoshop.

Added a layer of dyed paper towel sheets (pulled apart, one sheet becomes transparent).
What a fun idea. I'm sure you will have quite a colorful collection to hang in your studio once the exchange is over. I love the stencil work.
ReplyDeleteI love the one I got from you! Thanks for telling us how you did it.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the steps you took to get the final banner. Loved the photos from ArtFiberFest too. I'm going to try and go next year. I'm having a great time with Mary Ann's stencil class. Did you see that she is having a second class starting in August?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ruth, for your comment. Yes, I see that Mary Ann is having another Stencilery class in August. Are you taking it? I highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great banner Paula, thanks for the info on how you did it. I did sign up for Mary Anns class, but have been so busy I haven't started yet! Have a great Nature show too!
