About ten years ago, my first artistic endeavors led me to beading. The colors and textures of the beads and all the infinite combinations drew me into making jewelry. My grandmother taught me how to crochet. Now I can't stop combining the two with wire.
Check here for my first post on crocheting with beads and wire. Here are a few
examples of necklaces and earrings that I've made recently.
The earrings coordinate with the necklaces. We all need a little bling in our lives.
Very elegant Paula! I like the delicacy the crocheted wire adds.
ReplyDeleteLovely delicate necklaces with wonderful colour combinations!
ReplyDeleteThese are really quite beautiful. It makes me want to make them myself. They look very vintage. Just beautiful. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeletePaula, I love the delicate texture of your crochet necklaces. To answer your question I use my photos in my journaling but kind of like scrapbooking. I don't know how to make transfers or stuff like that. Also I've never taken photo lessons. I use a Nikon Coolpic 7600 and am just lucky.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Paula! They look like rain drops caught up and woven by fairies with a bit of spider web and rainbow woven in for good measure!
ReplyDeleteI love your necklaces Paula. I wear the Swollow earring with your mothers crystals often. You art always catches my eye. Hope your well.
