Today is our Portland Art Collective picnic and we made banners to exchange. I cannot wait to see what everyone created and to hang them in my studio.
I started with a collage of my drawings and sketches combined in Photoshop.

Added a layer of dyed paper towel sheets (pulled apart, one sheet becomes transparent).

What a fun idea. I'm sure you will have quite a colorful collection to hang in your studio once the exchange is over. I love the stencil work.
I love the one I got from you! Thanks for telling us how you did it.
I love seeing the steps you took to get the final banner. Loved the photos from ArtFiberFest too. I'm going to try and go next year. I'm having a great time with Mary Ann's stencil class. Did you see that she is having a second class starting in August?
Thanks, Ruth, for your comment. Yes, I see that Mary Ann is having another Stencilery class in August. Are you taking it? I highly recommend it.
That's a great banner Paula, thanks for the info on how you did it. I did sign up for Mary Anns class, but have been so busy I haven't started yet! Have a great Nature show too!
