Tuesday, we sketched outside
St. Honoré Boulangerie in Lake Oswego. The morning never warmed up. We sat with our hands wrapped around coffee cups, talking and sketching a little. Lake View Village and the town of Lake Oswego offer wonderful sidewalk gardens, flowered pots, downtown art, a variety of restaurants and shops.

It's hard to see the weather change to rain and darker days. I really appreciated our summer in July and August. These flowers bring a little bit of sunshine into my life today.

These flower sketches are so lovely! You're right about LO... there are so many beautiful things to draw.
Your sketches are wonderful. I am sorry I did not get to visit Lake Oswego when I was in Portland recently. Happy creating...
It looks like a colorful place to visit. No matter what the weather one can never have too much color or beautiful flowers to look at.
If I can't be with you sketching, at least I can enjoy your sketches after the fact. Lovely flowers that bring back good memories of Summer.
